Heroes Soundtrack Sucks

Thank God for iTunes. If it did not exist and I could not preview the soundtrack before I bought it I would have wasted $9.99. The only song that was worth my time was track 2: Fire and Regeneration which was the only score on the album aside from the opening title theme which was a whopping twelve seconds! I would have got that too but it was "Album Only" like a lot of the other songs. The main issue I had with the Heroes Soundtrack is that it wasn't the music from the. And by that I mean it was none of the scores, save for track 2 as I mentioned. Instead, it was filled with songs of bands or singers singing songs, but none of which was part of any Heroes episode. Sigh. So if you see this in Borders or Barnes and Noble and you're a fan of Heroes and you think you are about to get a soundtrack of the score, please refrain.

Hip Hop Saved My Life Video is Here!

The video was cool. Typical, but cool. I didn't like the bit of special effects that were in there. Bit cheesey in my opinion. I'd still have to say "Kick, Push" or "Dumb it Down" are my favorites, closely followed by "Hip Hop Saved My Life" then "SuperStar" and then "I Gotcha" and then "Daydreamin'" (hated the effects in that video and Lupe's terrible acting) and then "Failure" and then "Emperor's Soundtrack".

Only thing on schedule is "The Clone Wars"

March 17, 2008 - Star Wars fans will have to wait a bit longer than originally expected for the upcoming live-action Star Wars television series, says George Lucas. Lucas spoke to comingsoon.net at the ShoWest convention and revealed that he doesn't expect the series to debut until 2010 now, instead of 2009. "The live action show probably won't start until 2010," said Lucas. "We're working on it now, doing the scripts and everything."

Lucas was at ShoWest to promote the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated movie, which will precede the ongoing series of the same name debuting this fall. Lucas reiterated that when it comes to the animated series, "It's not that episodic," adding, "Some of the episodes are stand-alone and some are two, some are three, some are four [parters], and there's no cliffhangers. It's not like the current vogue of 24 and The Wire and stuff where you actually have to watch the entire series in order to understand what's going on. This is an old-fashioned episodic show."

I do like the news of the animated series being more old-school and episodic than series like. And what about that news about there being done with an entire year! Not only is the animated series the only thing on time but it is way ahead of schedule! I mean, George has got three years worth of the show written!
