RedRobin is all hooked up!

Got my hands on a USB Hub and I was able to hook up my iPod which I rightly named "RedRobin"
With my new iPod they gave me three free things! A short animated film based on "The Incredibles", a TV Show (which I did not download even though they offered it for free) and a music video by Maroon 5 (which I enjoyed very much).

Side-Note: I drove to WalMart today from my house! (Staying away from the major streets of course)

Peace.

iChat Tabs without Leopard!

I don't need Leopard for iChat tabs! Woot!

________

Today I finally got my Product(RED) iPod Nano!

And I don't be getting music on my iPod until I get a USB Hub because I only have two USB 2.0 ports in the back of my Mac PowerPC G4 and they are both in use (one of them being my external harddrive which has all my music stored in it) and the other being my keyboard. My keyboard has USB ports on them (one is being used for my mouse) but it's only USB 1.1 and my iPod needs USB 2.0.

Peace.

Making Business Card

NEW YORK (AP) - The "Star Wars" universe, already substantially rendered by computer generated imagery, is giving in all the way to animation. "Star Wars: The Clone Wars," an animated film, will open in theaters Aug. 15 and be followed by a TV series of the same name, to air on the Cartoon Network and TNT this fall. "I felt there were a lot more `Star Wars' stories left to tell," said "Star Wars" creator George Lucas in a statement. "I was eager to start telling some of them through animation and, at the same time, push the animation forward."

(And another!)
(OMG! Another one!)

(And a video!)

This is great great great and fantastic news! This makes me extremely happy and to know that the film is due out so soon is so great. You know how close August is? That's right around the corner if you think about it! And you know what's even more exciting? "A new character named Ahsoka, Anakin's padawan, will be the first female Jedi to be a character of focus." Anakin had a padawan! I wonder if she'll eventually die or turn to the dark-side. It will be very interesting to see how Anakin will act as a Master. He was never mature enough to even be placed as a Jedi Knight! But this should be great!

So now I wonder if the trailer/sneak peek that starwars.com put down last summer was actually a sneak peek for the film. I wondered this because the sneak peek was all in 2.34:1 aspect ratio (anamorphic widescreen or "film widescreen"). I thought this could have been just for dramatic effect but now I think I understand that this was a sneak peek for the actual film which makes me all the more happy! And to think some of us Star Wars would have died with the final live-action film!

My only issue. The only issue I have is with the film and television series to come right after is that it will be on Cartoon Network and TNT. And I don't have cable. But who knows, I'll be off to college and may have access to cable and plus modern TV shows are now placing their episodes on their sites on the internet the day after they air. So I may just do that. Should be interesting. It seems Lucasfilm has taken on another sub-company. They've had LucasArts before but now it seems they have Lucasfilm Animation which I assume was created for "The Clone Wars" and we'll go on to do animation for other third-party films.

In any case this is fantastic news!

So today when I went to get my CalGrant sign up sheet I was stop by one of the counselor's from my UCLA VIP Scholars program named Greg and he asked me what I was doing. I told him about the CalGrant and there was this other lady there sitting next to him and she said she also went to UCLA. Greg went on to mention how I did video productions and that I should give her my business card and I was like "I don't have a business card." Then he tells me just make one and give it to my college counselor so she could give it to him when he came back to Hamilton. So I did just that (see below) and I would like to see what you all think.

Revision: I put a drop shadow on the MITA Monkey and text and I made the monkey bigger. I also took out the Final Cut Pro and Adobe logos out because they were distracting and made the card too busy.

No More Heroes Until Fall

No More Heroes Until Fall
Even with strike over, Heroes seems grounded until next season.
by IGN Staff

February 11, 2008 - While the strike looks just about over, Heroes fans shouldn't expect new episodes in the immediate future. The news filtering out seems to confirm that the NBC superhero hit won't be back until this fall, despite writers almost certainly going back to work this week.

The reason for the delay seems centered around issues unique to Heroes from both a production and structural standpoint. Heroes creator Tim Kring told ew.com last week that he felt that they could probably only finish three more episodes of the series if they attempted to film more to air by the end of this TV season in May.

I got in a fight today. Didn't end too well for the other guy. Whoopi's got a black eye.

Today was the last day of shooting Whoopi vs. SilentBat II!

I really do enjoy the worm's eye angle.

Shooting on the first floor of my school is amazingly annoying but we usually have our best stuff done down there.

I felt like one of those big movies studios or ICF last week shooting at school and people thinking it's awesome and watching. It really reminded me of this time when they were filming by my house and everyone in the neighborhood was watching. People were watching our (Whoopi and I's) performance and I think they enjoyed it. Just wait until they see it on the small screen!

Ah man I love the extras (background performers) today. We got a great batch of them this time around. I really liked "The Massacre" extras to but last time we filmed they would not cooperate as well. I would like to give a big shout out to A.J. Bleyer! He was an amazing extra. And I mean AMAZING! And Janitor Jane! Shout out to her too! Great job Yhanni! Great job Donovan with the camera! She even got a sweet cameo! Great work Ure! Great dueling Thaddeus, I'll see you on set for "Antoine Bandele's And He Gets The Girl" (which will be shout this time in a fortnight).

Hey you gotta do what you gotta do to get your location! Haha!

Great day ... great day.

Peace.

I Was A Teenage Zombie

Coming Spring 2008

Mae Catt (pictured below), star of "Happiness for Only 19.99", and director of "Push", will soon be coming out with her newest film "I was A Teenaged Zombie." Here is a short synopsis:

"The Zombie Apocalypse has come and gone. Four teenaged survivors find their only refugee reluctantly with each other. Tensions rise when reality sets in and they try to cope with guilt, distrust, and each other. Living in the house of a dead friend with the Zombies always there they wonder if there’s anything left to do in this life."

There is going to be a trailer due out soon, looking forward to that. I'll post that up too when it's up. I enjoy seeing young filmmakers doing there thing like this, especially female filmmakers. There is a huge lack of female filmmakers in the industry and I really enjoyed stuff like "Love & Basketball" from Gina Prince-Bythewood or "Across the Universe" from Julie Taymor.

I have no idea why this has 2 mil views!

Funny response
